Storage tank
Sized to the household and the length of outage you want to ride out, and sited where it can actually be installed and serviced.
When Rand Water cuts the supply or the municipality shuts down for maintenance, a properly installed backup system means you don't notice. We install them for homes and businesses right across Gauteng.
Sized correctly, a backup system runs every tap and appliance at the pressure you're used to — showers, the geyser, the washing machine, and the taps outside.
Municipal water feeds the house through the tank, so what's stored is constantly turning over rather than standing still. The whole thing is automated — nothing to switch on, and nothing sitting long enough to go stagnant.
From multi-stage sediment and carbon block through to reverse osmosis and limescale removal. We can run a full laboratory testing panel on your water first, so the filtration is chosen for what's genuinely in it rather than guessed at.
Every system we install has a manual changeover, so if the electricity goes off you can switch straight back to municipal supply. Where an interruption isn’t an option, we fit solar-compatible VSD booster pumps.
Manual or WiFi tank level monitors, so you can see what's left instead of finding out in the shower.
Every system is built for the property it's going on. Arrange a site evaluation and we'll work out tank size and placement, the right booster pump, and the filtration your water actually needs. The evaluation and the quote are free.

Four parts, sized together. Getting one of them wrong is what makes the difference between a system you forget about and one you keep phoning someone about.
Sized to the household and the length of outage you want to ride out, and sited where it can actually be installed and serviced.
What gives you normal pressure rather than gravity-fed dribble. VSD and solar-compatible options where supply can't be interrupted.
Sediment and carbon block as standard, through to reverse osmosis and limescale removal where the water calls for it.
Automatic switching, a manual changeover for when the power goes, and manual or WiFi level monitors so you know what's left.
It depends on how many people live in the house, how long the outages in your area tend to last, and where a tank can physically stand. That is what the site evaluation is for — we would rather measure than guess, because a tank that runs dry halfway through a two-day shutdown has not solved anything.
Yes, where the system is sized correctly. A pressure pump is what makes the difference between a proper shower and a trickle, and we size the pump to the house rather than fitting the same one everywhere.
Not in the way we install it. The municipal supply feeds the house through the tank, so the stored water is continuously replaced rather than sitting still.
The booster pump runs on electricity, so whether it is load shedding or a municipal fault, we fit a manual changeover that lets you switch straight back to municipal supply if there is still pressure in the line. For properties that cannot risk any interruption, we install solar-compatible VSD pumps.
Yes. We offer a full water laboratory testing panel so the filtration is chosen for what is actually in your water — sediment, chemical content, hardness — rather than fitting a standard bank of cartridges and hoping.
Yes. We install JoJo, Eco Tanks and the other major brands. Which one we recommend depends on the capacity you need and the space you have for it — the brand matters far less than the system being sized and plumbed in correctly.
Yes. Complexes, offices and industrial buildings, with multiple tanks manifolded together and sized to the building’s demand.
Send us a WhatsApp with how many people are in the house and where you are — we'll come out, work out what you need, and price it properly. No obligation.
